EP Delhi Hub, 1 Acre, New Delhi

Launched in October 2022, our initiative in Delhi represented an integrated approach to sustainable agriculture docusing on agroecological principles, combining a Market Garden with a farm-to-table restaurant concept. This project aimed to serve as a community-centric ecological hub, fostering a collaborative environment for the exploration and implementation of regenerative agricultural practices.

Our focus on market gardening emphasizes the intensive cultivation of vegetables, prioritizing soil health and biodiversity enhancement. By incorporating principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture, we seek to innovate traditional agricultural practices in India. Our research is dedicated to developing standardized methodologies for land restoration and assessing the economic sustainability of small-scale farming enterprises.

Key to our approach is the application of technology and data analysis in establishing regenerative food supply chains and economic models that support rural development. We are committed to creating farming methodologies that facilitate social and rural transformation, leveraging practices such as alley cropping, agroforestry, watershed management, and holistic grazing.

The project doubled as an educational and demonstration site, where apprentices were trained in regenerative agriculture principles. These principles form the foundation of our standard operating procedures, designed to promote land rehabilitation and sustainable rural livelihoods.

This endeavor not only aimed to advance sustainable agricultural practices but also to contribute to the scholarly discourse on regenerative agriculture, offering insights into scalable models for rural economic development and environmental stewardship.
